Job title: Senior Research Scientist – Nutrition Formulation

What do we need:
We are seeking an experienced Research Scientist to lead our product formulation activities for new product launches, specializing in Nutrition and dietary supplement products. The delivery formats you will be working with are tablets, capsules, softgels, gummies, beverages and powders with a special focus on tablets, capsules, softgels, and powders.
As a formulator, you will lead product development from discovery to production, focusing on nutritional products. You'll contribute to Idea-to-Market (ITM) teams, delivering expert presentations, interviews, and insights. You'll spend 40% of your time in the lab and 60% on activities like ingredient research, technology mining, concept creation, testing, validation, and collaborating with process and packaging engineers to ensure successful scale-up.
Additionally, you will work closely with internal cross functional partners and will collaborate with external partners to co-develop or outsource new technologies. Your passion will drive the vision for the product and will engage our Marketing team and internal partners on how to promote product benefits and attributes to ABOs around the globe.
Your ability to develop innovative new products will continue to evolve our strong reputation for quality and performance in all areas of what we do in support of the Nutrilite Brand and our product portfolio. This role can offer a strong platform to spotlight your talent on a global scale!
There will be about 10% domestic and international travel in this role.
Required qualifications:
BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Science or related Science or Engineering discipline
Experience creating Pharmaceutical or Nutritional Supplement products
