Job Description

Description

Prime Video (PV) brings together the world’s best creators with the most passionate communities in a way that no other entertainment brand can. Not only are we a one-stop hub for distinctive, critically-acclaimed and award-winning original programming including TV series such as The Boys, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Jack Ryan and movies like Air, Saltburn, The Idea of You, and Road House, but we offer a multi-dimensional experience that allows subscribers to fully immerse themselves in their fandom: to read the book, to listen to the soundtrack, to buy the costume, to replay live sports in real time, and more. And that breadth and connection to the Amazon family of brands, along with the support of a passionate and diverse global team, makes Prime Video a company where creators and makers of all kinds can build their future.

Prime Video is seeking a Product Marketing Manager who will drive our mission of becoming the premier destination for live sports and entertainment. In this role, you will develop and scale marketing programs for Prime Video Channels, the service that lets Prime Members add subscriptions like Paramount+, HBO Max, STARZ, and more. As a member of the team, you will support the strategy and execution of marketing campaigns that shape how customers discover and engage with live event and sports content on Prime Video Channels.

A successful candidate is a passionate sports and live events enthusiast with a strong record of collaborating across internal and external teams to deliver compelling marketing campaigns. The candidate is also an effective written and verbal communicator and analytical thinker who can combine their live events subject matter expertise with data to drive program improvements. An ideal candidate has experience managing complex, time-sensitive projects, can thrive in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to balance multiple and competing priorities.

Key job responsibilities

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for implementing high visibility marketing campaigns for Prime Video Channels’ sports and live event content. This includes defining target campaign audiences, identifying effective marketing placements, analyzing success metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), inspecting live campaigns to ensure they meet a high performance bar (including on evenings and weekends for key live events), and creating scalable mechanisms to gather stakeholder feedback and alignment. You will work closely with Marketers, Creative Producers, Product Managers, Program Managers, Finance, and Business Leaders to improve the reach and resonance of campaigns, as well as advocate for an improved sports and live event customer experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives
  • Experience balancing high level strategic thinking and detail-oriented execution
  • Experience working independently and autonomously
  • Experience working in an ambiguous environment
  • Passion for live events / sports and the entertainment industry
