**Position Overview:**
We are looking for a detail-oriented Database Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of our database systems. The ideal candidate will ensure data integrity, optimize performance, and support our team's data needs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Design, implement, and maintain database systems to meet organizational needs.
* Ensure data security, integrity, and availability.
* Monitor database performance and implement improvements.
* Develop and enforce database standards and procedures.
* Collaborate with IT and content teams to support data requirements.
* Perform regular backups and recovery testing.
* Stay updated with emerging database technologies and best practices.
**Qualifications:**
* Proven experience as a Database Manager or similar role.
* Proficiency in database languages such as SQL.
* Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
**Bonus Points:**
* Experience with cloud-based database solutions.
* Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
* Interest in food, grilling, or the carnivore lifestyle.
