Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: San Antonio, TX

Type: Direct Hire
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 
Once candidate has been trained a hybrid schedule will be offered, working 3 days in office and 2 remote. 

System One is seeking a Manager of Financial Accounting to provide leadership to help manage the Consolidation and Financial Accounting related to producing the financial statements of the Enterprise. The main focus of the Manager will be to provide quality and timely accounting and support services to all the family of companies within the Enterprise.

Responsibilities:
•    Manage Consolidation of Financials for the Parent Companys Financials.
•    Manage corporate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes .and requirements; internal and external.
•    Manage financial accounting processes: draft and record journal entries, trial balance management, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation and related protocols, subsidiary ledger maintenance, fixed assets, accruals and prepaid balances, bank reconciliations, financial report analysis.
•    Work with operations department heads to ensure that all operational activity has appropriately been identified and reflected in financial statements.
•    Train and develop staff. Identify training needs and curriculum deficiencies
•    On occasion, assist with Enterprise special projects in coordinating with management, performing accounting research, meeting with department heads, and creating/providing the required.

Job Requirements:
•    Bachelors Degree in Accounting
•    Strong Excel - V look ups, pivot tables, word – formatting.
•    Consolidation for profit company - nonprofit entities are different than a corporate.
•    Quarterly and Annually reporting - SEC security and exchange commission
•    Over 3 year years related experience
•    Trustworthy - Demonstrated ability to keep information confidential
•    Competency and proficiency in Microsoft applications and database management
•    Strong interpersonal skills including collaboration, communication, and team-building
•    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
•    Ability to simultaneously manage tasks, projects and requests, seeking assistance with juggling priorities, as needed.
