Job Description

Salary: $152,000 - 190,000 per year Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in 3D web development.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Three.js, including textures, lighting, animations/key frames, and hierarchical data structures.
• Familiarity with GLTF/GLB formats and their pipelines.
• Understanding of 3D concepts and tools such as Blender and Unity.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and experience with the React framework.
• Knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, S3, SQS, and Code Artifact.
• Moderate understanding of web components, npm packages, and Rollup plugin API.
• Familiarity with popular CAD systems like Solidworks, PTC Creo, and Autodesk Inventor.
• Understanding of CAD data formats such as STP and IGES files.
• High-level comprehension of platform architecture and APIs.
• Ability to apply CI/CD concepts on AWS or Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of buffer geometry (vertices, UVs, indexes), textures, materials, and shaders.
• Experience with translation, rotation, and scale manipulation through keyframe sequences.
• Strong grasp of Three.js concepts, including matrix calculations, mesh creation and modification, post-processing, rendering loops, curves, vectors, scenes, cameras (perspective and orthogonal), controls, instancing, lights, and loaders.
• Good understanding of CAD principles, including parametric design, parameters, and drawings.

Responsibilities:

• Fulfill a hands-on architect role involving the coding of SaaS applications with 3D visualization capabilities.
• Lead the design and development efforts for 3D platforms and solutions.
• Translate customer needs into technical breakdowns and document design specifications.
• Design data warehouse architecture and actively develop data pipelines and distribution frameworks using cloud technologies.
• Establish best practices and document use cases, solutions, and recommendations.
• Work in a fast-paced agile development setting.
• Offer technical mentorship and project guidance to the development team.
• Collaborate with fellow architects and data scientists to design and develop robust enterprise solutions.
• Engage in 50% hands-on coding as part of your role.
